WP v 3.5.1
I’m using the Transchild child theme

When I click on “older posts” at the bottom of the home page, I get a page that says “Not Found, Error 404”.

I’m not sure where to go from here. Any suggestions on how to fix this would be great.

Well, I fixed it. This is what I did:

I spent 3 hours researching alternatives and trying all of them.
Then I deactivated Genesis Featured Widget Amplified and reactivated it.

That, apparently, did the trick. 🙂
