I think this pluging seems quite interesting but it does not work as I expected. I added a new organization and I see all entries in the plugin tab but there are some bugs.

    1. Added user (organization) in the plugins option is not visible in WordPress user option in back-end! Same issue exists regarding categories not displayed in wp category option!
    2. WP registered users are not displayed in the plugins user management option. Same issue exists regarding categories in category option!
    3. Cropping Logo to shrink does not shrink and just crops.

I believe there might be some issues with database queries.
Any directions how to make it work? Any time frame for new release?

I think you might be confused. Connections does not sync with the WP users at all.

    That was unfortunate :(

I thought it should because Connection has several features that WP has missed and are actually very useful.

Is there any plan to make it possible at least read from the wp user database tables? For instants, if somehow you can import data from wp users to make it automatic if it is not possible to save data in user profiles. It make sense if we have to make entries for few hundred users. Am I wrong?

However, there are a few plugins that can read and save user profiles but they do not perform what your plugin can achieve.

I look forward to see if you could do such thing with it though there are many people that will have use for it. I appreciate your work :)

By the way, if you decide to continue development of your interesting plugin, it would be appreciated if you consider the following features:

    1. Please do not limit this nice plugin separated from wp database tables which, if integrated, would be very appreciated by many users!

    2. Personal information could be implemented in each wp profiles page for them to have possibility to edit it themselves. Of course if possible, you should keep the existing profile option page ;)

    3. Regarding organizations, it would be more interesting if it is attached to a chosen profile (in the same way as mentioned above) who is considered to be the manager.

    4. One or more profiles could also be selected by admin (or possibly the manager) to be able to display or edit the organizations profile.

    I appreciate your work.

Well the good news, user profile integration is a planned feature as is multi user lists for management of groups of users by different admins or other role. The bad news is, I have no idea when this will be completed. What I can tell you is that the next release that I'm working on will have add/edit moderation built-in. So for example, you could use the roles setting to allow subscribers to add but only allow admins to approve.

That was really good news :)

However, group management is a very good idea. Please take membership requests and invitations also into your consideration.

By the way, does your plans include integration with wp database tables too? If it does, it would be awesome for many users.

By the way, if thats the case, you don't need to perform major modifications to change your plugin though some people may be satisfied with this version. Accordingly, if there is a feature for the admin to decide weather he considers to use the directory separate from the existing wp tables (as it does today) or integrate it with existing wp user tables.

Hope it works out and I look forward to it.
