I am using the ‘Fancy’ theme and I can”t drag the widgets into the sidebar or remove them. When I click on help or page options nothing happens and when I go to drag a widget it shows the ‘move icon’ however when I click and drag it just highlights it. I have tried this in two different browsers and this still persists. This is the same for when writing a page, choosing between ‘text’ and ‘visual’. This problem only started this morning and is a pain!

Have you tried deactivating your plugins and switching to the default theme to try to identify what may be causing that? If doing that fixes it, reverse the steps one by one to find the troublesome one.

Did you try enabling accessibility mode in screen options?

@krishna – I cannot access screen options so will try WPyogi’s way.

    Thanks 🙂

    Sorted everyone!

The cause was the plugin ‘WordPress captcha contact form with frontend TinyMCE editor’
