    Hi,
I have the last version of edd, (easy-digital-downloads plugin) the paypal payment works fine, also I get the mail with download link, but the message comes like bottom if I click on the link.

"You are not authorized to view this file."

    Why this happen?

I guess the hash parameter from payment is lost?

    thanks

  2. It sounds like you have used the "Attachment" URL for the file downloads instead of the "File URL".

    thanks for turbo response :-)

    I used this code in e-mail: {download_list}

    2. My WordPress is an Multi-Doman Site, maybe this makes trouble? I guess not, but ..
Hash is includes. The payment come from a guest without registering 4 account.
The link looks like so: http://mydomain.de/wp?download_key=96c3ac894372ea9697e7aa829878f1db&email=info%40mymail.de&file=0&download=221&expire=MTM1NTg1ODM4OA%3D%3D

    listen,

all received download links do not work.

The link is there but WordPress keeps telling me: "You are not authorized to view this file."

    Anyone have any ideas?

    My WP runs as MU-domain

Have found a solution. EDD generated in WP-system an incorrect link that does not fit physically. It seems like that you have to enter the physical path / file with MimeType, then it works :-)

  6. I was referring to the download URL entered in the product edit page, not the email :)

Great to hear you have it working!

Unfortunately rejoiced too soon, it only works exclusively with Safari. (Mac)
The Reason is the AJAX button mode, please check this. There may exist some incompatibilities?! AJAX not work :-) Checkout page remains blank, so do not complete the user transaction.

I figured out, jquery validation does not work together with ajax button. If both activated, then works only correct with Safari under MAC ... o)

  9. The jQuery validated on the checkout form? Has is that related to the download link sent in the email?

its a bug, fix it or leave it

  12. Sorry, I don't understand what you're saying the bug is. Can you elaborate?

when is activated in preference / settings: checked jquery on and ajax button = on! Both option activated = works only in safari, testet only with a mac. Is that so hard to understand?

  14. Got it!

You confused me because you complete switched topics :)

  15. It's actually working fine for me in Google Chrome, though that's on the dev version. I'll keep on eye on the issue and get it fixed if I see it pop up in the next release.

    sorry 4 topics o)
be carefully, I was meaning especially, it's working not under any windows browsers incl. IE if its ajax button checked on, must be only checked jquery form validation option = on. :/
    Merry Christmas :-)

My raport 4 U improvements. Payment and download links works also for windows user fine and well :-) Just the ajax checkout button get no data from session, so that the basket stay empty. I don't know why, the gifs holding blink mode and I must disable the asynchronously feature than the shoppingcart works - I can live with that.

  18. Thanks for the report, it should be fixed with the next release.

    One more thing :-)

A download link is indeed generated cryptic and I can determine the lifetime of the link, but if I, as a buyer get the cryptic link and via browser download, I can, for example, Safari, leave via context menu to show the real download path and this link could be a buyer publish via filesharing etc.. How can I protect myself against it? Temporary Rewrite Rule? Is this a design weakness in EDD or I have something configured wrong?

  20. Not to be difficult, but please start separate topics for each question. It keeps things more organized and helps people find answers to the same questions.
