  • Hi,

Could you elaborate on the type of mobile platforms you are talking about? iOS, Android, etc.? Or is the plugin not working on any of them?

    Thx.

Here is where I have it running on my beta development area:

    http://b-ap.net/bapresenter/

The black square is where it should be.

I’ve tried it on iOS (iphone5 and ipad) as well as Android.

    Thank you

    Hi there,

I just visited that site in Chrome on my Mac and it’s not working there either, so it’s not a mobile-related issue. I’m seeing a “Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 403 (Forbidden)” when trying to access the widget’s Javascript. I suspect that the file permissions for this plugin aren’t set properly on the server.

You’ll want to login and check your file permissions. I use cPanel to do this. If you look in wp-content/plugins/date-and-time-widget/js you will see the date-time.js file. The file permission should be set to 0644. In general, all of the files should be set to permission 0644 and folders set to 0755.

Hope that solves the problem for you.

    Donna,

    Of course. I’m an idiot.

It’s the new security that I have running on all of my sites that keep the site protected from js and php injection threats.

Added your JS to the firewall and VOILA!!!

    Thanks for your help.

I hope you had a great weekend.

Ah, excellent. I’ve made a mental note of this as another possible cause of this type of problem. Thanks for letting me know!

Hmmm also have the problem widget is not showing… Don’t understand why it not working. Is the JS not possible to load some other way? why will it be blocked?

    Hi,

Have you checked the file permissions as per my previous post? Do you have a firewall in place? Those are the most likely culprits for having something blocked.

    Thx.
