Even when I am logged into WordPress.org, the site shows me as not logged in on the Theme Author page used to add themes. (http://wordpress.org/extend/themes/)
Please help!

Login was combined site-wide not too long ago, and due to caching and pre-existing cookies, some things can be a bit wonky.
Try clearing all wordpress.org cookies from your browser, then try logging in from the themes section.
