Hi, I created a super-admin in my Multisite. Now I want to delete it, but then I have to edit the user and degrade from super-admin to regular user. When I do this and hit update-user I got this error on the .../wp-admin/network/user-edit.php page:
Catchable fatal error: Object of class stdClass could not be converted to string in /home/mediesj1/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 1486
Some one experied similar problems? Can someone help me?
Why not just UNCHECK the box on their profile page?

That's what I'm trying to do. But when I hit the update user button, I got the error:(
Disable your plugins. Especially if you have any to muck with member permissions.

I disabled all my plugins, but still the same error. I'm stuck.
Log in via FTP and rename your plugins and mu-plugins folders. Then try it again.

Hi, Tim. Thanks for answer.
You want me to rename all of my plugins folders?
Just rename them to the same name or?
Rename the folder plugins to plugins.old
Rename the folder mu-plugins to mu-plugins.old

No luck with that either....
Do you have another user with super admin privs? It could be not letting you remove it if that's the only super admin you have.

I'm having 3 super-admin on my site. I was able to update them before, but one day I suddenly got the error. It's very strange.
