   Hi,

   I just now registered with wordpress and started using <mysitename>.wordpress.org.

   I tried to install the syntax highlighter plugin into the my site.

   But I am not able to find plugins tab in the administration screen. Please help

   Do you mean <mysitename>.wordpress.com? If you have a free blog hosted by wordpress.com, there are some restrictions. One of those restrictions is that you cannot upload plugins.
