• I have had no previous issues with adding photos to my blog. But now I am getting the following error message when I try to add images:

Unable to create directory /home/clients/oppenheimphoto.com/public_html/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/01. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

I am clicking on the “Add Image” icon and using the Browser Uploader. I’ve also tried the Flash Uploader.

When I try to upload images from the Media Library I get the following message:

    Error saving media attachment.

Any ideas? I am using Comment Central theme and have WordPress 2.9.1

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

Assign 755 recursive permissions on wp-content folder which will resolve the issue.

    Thanks,

I have tried both Internet Explorer and Firefox when doing this. My domain servers (Creative Motion Design) just upgraded their servers and I’m wondering whether something has happened with that process since our websites and blogs were down for a couple of days.
