• I just installed version 0.9.5 and am trying to activate the plugin when I get this error message:

    Sorry! In order to use the Genesis Connect for WooCommerce plugin you need to do the following:

    Install and activate the WooCommerce plugin.

    I added this code to my functions file before the ?> tag:

    add_theme_support( 'genesis-connect-woocommerce' );

    I deleted and then reinstalled the plugin – and still same error message. Any ideas?
    Thanks!

  • I was trying to use the Genesis Connect for WooCommerce plugin on a multisite and was getting the same error.

    I got it to work by not network activating it but by activating it on the individual sites within the multisite.

    The error message says that WooCommerce is not active. So, that’s your first port of call.

    You are correct, you have to activate ona site by site basis (as explained in the readme) 🙂
