I have just started to build my website in Norwegian, based on the Linux Theme.

But as you can see, the Norwegian letters Æ, Ø and Å does not work. Why is this? How can I fix it?
You can see a tiny squarebox in in the header and footer of the site. These are supposed to be norwegian letters.

I can't see that you're using æ, but ø and å looks good on my computer

I solved the problem. You had to save the files as UTF-8. They were by default using another character set. Maybe because it was developed by a person with english/american keyboard.
