Normal case for label and options for variation?

I’d like to know if there is a configuration option, or how I could otherwise make the label and options for variations normal case. Right now they are being uppercased, and I don’t really like it.

I see in variable.php the .product_label and .product_value, but I don’t know what to change or edit to make the text normal case.
