Hi lovely WordPressers:
As an extreme noob, I've got a question about syndication.
Ideally what I want to do is display the author and a few sentences of the two most recent blog posts on different parts of my site. I'm assuming this is easiest to do via a feed, but honestly, after about an hour of poking around, am no closer to figuring it out.
Could anybody lend me some insight?
Many, many thanks -
Kyle
Could you be a lot more specific? What are these "different parts of my site"?
It's hard to tell you what to do when we don't know what you want to do.

Fair enough. So say I've got WordPress running in a /wordpress/ directory, and I want to syndicate the content in an /index.html file - just pulling the two most recent posts from one section of the site to another.
Each category has an RSS feed that may work for you. Take the url of the category that you're looking at and add in '/feed/' at the end of it. For example:
http://pinkfloyd.daria.be/category/pink-floyd/feed/
You're doing to have to find an RSS reader for your index page though. I'm a one window public terminal today so I can't do searches.
