Your current method of nomination simply doesn’t scale for large sites. I’m running a community with >10k users, so finding whoever I’m looking to nominate through that drop-down list is just not feasible.

I think it would work much better as a text box with nickname autocomplete. Maybe you could look at this “mentions autosuggest” feature as an example:

Though lower priority, as an additional feature request I’d love it if you could offered a ‘member -> achievement’ path as an alternative to the existing ‘achievement -> member’. So from a user’s (BuddyPress/bbPress) menu, there’d be a “Nominate” button from which I could choose an achievement to nominate them for.

Thanks for the feedback Erlend. If you’re not already, you can follow along with the development on the GitHub page for it, located here: https://github.com/opencredit/badgeos

I’ll get some enhancement issues filed for your suggestions above, and if the BadgeOS people like them enough, they’ll get to work on implementing. Feel free to join the discussion as well.

Thanks for adding those for me Michael. I found the issues and I’ll be watching them 🙂
