I´m probably missing something here. I normally install wordpress manually with the help of the wp-config-sample.php file, entering in my datebase information and renaming it. This time I installed wordpress automatically, entering in this stuff when the installation asked me.

Everything works as it should, but there is no wp-config.php file in my root. Doesnt the installation create one? I need to access it, but I cant find it :) The sample-version is there but no normal version.

Try and look in the directory above your WordPress install.
