[resolved] No wp-config.php ? (3 posts)

I have a working site, no problems, it was a 5-minute install on the host system and works well.
On investigating I can see no wp-config.php file, only the -sample file.
I didn't think this was possible, and what if I wanted to change something?

No, you don't have one by default

Thanks for this, but it doesn't actually say we don't need the wp-config file. Indeed it says:
"you must modify the wp-config.php file to define the WordPress configuration settings required to access your MySQL database"
    Perhaps this could be clarified.
