No web indexing for blog in sub folder directory (7 posts)

I have two blogs. I the main blog is under the url of inlightus.com. I have another blog which I created in a sub folder of inlightus.com. The url is something like inlightus.com/pureinsight.

Even though I have selected the site to be visible (yes to the option
"I would like my site to be visible to everyone, including search engines (like Google, Bing, Technorati) and archivers") I still can't attempt to pull up the website on any search engine, even if I search for the exact url of the second blog.

I'm not sure why the blog will not index with search engines. Any help?

How long has inlightus.com/pureinsight been online?

Its been 3 months. The main blog at inlightus.com comes up quick on google and my articles are indexed in just a few days.

Try adding a sitemap. Use this plugin:

I don't think this is the cause but just to mention, the site in question fails validation:

    http://validator.w3.org/check?uri=http%3A%2F%2Finlightus.com%2Fpureinsight%2F&charset=%28detect+automatically%29&doctype=Inline&group=0&ss=1

In this case it's three rather minor things but that is something to check if search engine bots aren;t picking you up. I've seen sites previously with hundreds of problems and they don;t get indexed.

Why not throw a blogroll link to the secondary site up on the primary site?

.. but those are relatively minor in terms of indexing. Far down the page.

If google can't get to that subsite from a link on themain page, it probably has no idea it's there.

@Adrea_R That makes sense. I can provide a link on the blogroll. I consider the two blogs completely different, which was the reason for not providing a link. I'll do that and see how that goes.

    Thanks for the help
