    Greetings,

I recently installed Yelp Widget Pro (free version). I entered all of my API information, and the API settings were saved successfully. However, I am not seeing any way to edit the widget’s settings (appearance, general widget set up, etc.). The only option that is appearing on my Settings page (under the API fields) is this one:

    Disable Plugin CSS Output: [checkbox]

    Please help & thank you!

That’s strange! If you go to Appearance > Widgets

Do you see the “Yelp Widget Pro” in the list of available widgets?

    Thanks for your reply, Devin!

I do see the Yelp Widget Pro in my list of available widgets. I can add the widget to my sidebar, and then I can customize the settings (I can specify the Search Term, Location, Sorting, etc). THANK YOU! I was not expecting to adjust the settings in the Appearance > Widgets area.

With the Premium version of Yelp Widget Pro, can I have the Yelp Widget act as a “stand alone” page on my site? I am looking to create an entire page of business listings instead of just limiting the listings to my side bar.

Thank you again for your help!

    Glad to help!

The Pro version does have enhanced options to display outside of the sidebar with the use of a shortcode. The issue is that Yelp’s API only allows for 1 review to be displayed for new API keys. So if you were hoping to display multiple reviews on your page that’s not really possible.

Any idea of a release date for your Google Places plugin? That sounds really cool! I’d love to be notified when it’s ready.

I’m actually hoping to release it in mid-June
