   I have a friend who has a new site which is in WordPress 3.3. She's come to me for help desperate to find out how to edit her site as she doesn't write code.

   When I login, I find there is no visual tab at all for pages or posts - it only has html available.

   She has no plugins activated and I've reset it to the default template but that hasn't changed the problem at all.

   How do we get the visual tab showing up for editing pages and posts please?

   Check the settings in your Profile. Go to Admin->Users->Your Profile and make sure that 'Visual Editor: Disable the visual editor when writing' is not checked.
