   Well,
   The problem is simple. There is no box to enable rich editor in the users profile on my wordpress 2.2.3.
   I have tried reuploading files. No change.

   Any idea?

   Try upgrading to 2.5.1. If it still doesn't work, re-load/upload 'Advanced Tiny Mce'

   there's lots of threads related to this issue...lots of different reasons. i found this thread to solve my issue: http://wordpress.org/support/topic/220660?replies=2#post-909343

   if you uploaded/upgraded using FileZilla, this is probably your issue too. the good news is that it is easy to fix!
