    – wordpress 3.5.1 supplies jquery 1.8.3
    – activated flowplayer5 v.0.5 OK
    – using firefox v.19.0.2 > add new post
    – entered valid format webm and mp4 urls:
preview shows videos although mp4 preview overlays lower section of fp text div in post admin panel
    – send to editor button active OK
    – When I publish or update > the video urls go away in the edit post page and the published post shows no video, nor is there a call for the flowplayer in the published page’s header (page source)?
    1. What is the “send to editor” button? What does it doe? Even when I click this button before publish or updating > still no video in post.
    2. How do I get this plugin to work?
    3. We need a FP5 shortcode for pages as well as posts.
    Thanks.

Thank you David for the detailed support question. Sorry for the delay.

    1. The “send to editor” should send a shortcode to the editor
2.If you cant get the shortcode generator to work then you can manually add the links.
    [flowplayer splash="http://www.example.com/splash.jpg" webm="http://www.example.com/video.webm" mp4="http://www.example.com/video.mp4" ogg="http://www.example.com/video.ogv" width="940" height="528" skin="minimalist"]
    3. The shortcode will work on pages too.

I will look into the problem you are having and get back to you.

For my Inovado theme, the Flowplayer 5 WordPress Plugin is active under the Standard rather than the Video blog post type. Once activated, the plugin installs the “Add Flowplayer to Post” admin panel below every standard edit post page, whether you decide to use it or not. After entering the appropriate data, the send to editor button creates the Flowplayer5 shortcode and inserts it into the html text editor, then clearing the admin entry data. This places a 100% responsive html5 video with flash fallback in the body of the post, but not in the “featured image” location [again – theme based restriction] as you see with the iframe/oembed url technique for YouTube videos using the Video post type. All generated shortcodes can be copied/pasted to any page, not just posts as the Flowplayer5 wordpress plugin is active sitewide.

I will work on a way to insert the video in the “featured image” position rather than the body of the blog post.

What do you think of the latest update 1.0.0?
