   Hi all,

   I am in charge of a WP blog that is using the last 2.9.2 release of WP .

   I am wondering why I do not have any upgrade / add new theme / add new plugin options in my menu.

   I have reinstalled from scratch WP, importing the MySQL data base and transferring wp-content but the options are still not there.

   It is not a question of file permissions as the options were avaiblable before the data base and wp-content import and transfer.

   How can I restore these options ?

   In Your Profile, are you assigned the Administrator Role?

   Yes, I am an administrator.

   Did you notice if you had these options before importing the db?

   Yes I had these options before importing the db
   this the reason for which I suspect a parameter in wp-option table

   Could try deactivating all plugins and switching to the WordPress default theme. If that doesn't resolve I'd consider deleting the WordPress files, then reupload, per Steps 7 and 8 in Upgrading_WordPress_Extended.
