   I seem not to have any WYSIWYG editing capability. When I go to edit/write a post, there is only html code, even when "enable visual editor" is checked in my user profile. Is there something missing from my install? I can't find tinyMCE anywhere--in fact, I don't remember having it at all since the initial install.

   Same error here, have tryed to download the patch allsoo here on the board,but no luck...
   is there no way we all can get oure TinyMCE back?:)

   Have you tried removing all the plugins?

   I just tried making my own plugin, which tampered with some things and screwed TinyMCE over. Most possibly a Javascript collision.

   Just my 2p, but you should be looking in that direction.

   I'm having this very nasty issue too: no WYSIWYG here either!

   Deactivating the (previously activated) plugins changes ABSOLUTELY NOTHING so there has to be another way to re-WYSIWYG the default TinyMCE engine, in WordPress.

   Thanks for posting the key to this mystery!
