No Theme working in WordPress 2.6 (11 posts)

    I recently uploaded wp 2.6 (and upgraded to 2.6.1) on my new site and every theme that I try I don't see black or the outline of boxes or the header. For example this is the theme that I chose Magazine Style Theme (http://www.themelab.com/2008/07/21/simplewp-free-wordpress-theme/) which is compatable with 2.6 but when I upload it I get http://emailspamcollection.com/ it looks like css is missing or not working right. I'm not sure but this happens with every theme I'm trying.

    I'm no css expert but can anyone provide some help here so I can get a theme installed?

    Thanks!

    Is that the link you meant to post? That doesn't seem to be WordPress:

    <meta name="generator" content="b2evolution 2.4.2" />

    Does anyone know how to fix the no-theme problem?

    I don't know what to change!
    I just upgraded to 2.6.1 and it was working, then upgraded my Akismet, and all the stylesheeting disappeared. It's like it's not calling the stylesheet or theme.

    @Peacock: Your page is calling this stylesheet

    http://blog.peacockandpaisley.com/wp-content/themes/firebug/firebug/style.css

    It does not exist - pulls a 404 error when I try to look at it.

    nope - it's not there at the address referenced by your page, but the path seems screwy to me

    .../wp-content/themes/firebug/firebug/style.css

    shouldn't that just be

    .../wp-content/themes/firebug/style.css

    I switched themes to Default and am having the same problem.

    What would have changed between 2.6 and 2.6.1? Everything was fine before I upgraded.

    It drives me nuts when someone asks a question, is given an answer, and then they totally ignore that advice insisting it can't possibly be the problem. DON'T ASK IF YOU'RE NOT GOING TO ACCEPT THE ANSWER!
