• I bought the Pro version for a client so they could add multiple photos at once. I followed the instructions provided exactly, but keep getting a JavaScript error on the page with the gallery. I did all the usual debugging (disable all plugins, test, fiddle with settings, test) but no luck. I tried to contact the developer but haven’t received a response – it’s been 3 days. Don’t even bother buying the Pro version, there are so many other free plugins that let you do the same thing and which have better support.

    Hi,

Sorry for the late response. I had actually posted the response below in the support section 3 weeks ago and had not seen this review. I can see that you still have the gallery still active and I possibly know what the problem is. If you are still requesting a refund, the best way to get a quick response is contacting through web site for the pro version.

    Thanks

    Hi,

It looks like your theme does not have the required wp_head() hook to allow the javascript tags needed for the plugin to be written to the page.

You should see these two tags:

    <script type='text/javascript' src='http://yoursite.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-easy-gallery-pro/js/jquery.prettyPhoto.js?ver=3.4.2'></script>
    <script type='text/javascript' src='http://yoursite.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-easy-gallery-pro/js/EasyGalleryLoader.js?ver=3.4.2'></script>
