    <?php get_sidebar(); ?> just need to be added before <?php get_footer(); ?> on the comments template page.

    Ok, I looked for the <?php get_footer tag and didn't find it in the Comments.php file

    I added the get_side bar tag anyway at the bottom and it added the content to the bottom of the page and it didn't change to the background that I use for the sidebar pages, like the main page.

    The background change I noticed was in the header.php code

    <?php
    // Checks to see whether it needs a sidebar or not
    if ( !$withcomments && !is_single() ) {
    ?>
    	#page { background: url("<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory'); ?>/images/kubrickbg-<?php bloginfo('text_direction'); ?>.jpg") repeat-y top; border: none; }
    <?php } else { // No sidebar ?>
    	#page { background: url("<?php bloginfo('stylesheet_directory'); ?>/images/kubrickbgwide.jpg") repeat-y top; border: none; }
    <?php } ?>

    Any ideas what I need to change to have the side bar background on the comment pages (single page) show up and also the main content left justified???

    Look in wp-content, themes, default, single.php

    At the bottom, between

    </div>
    and
    <?php get_footer(); ?>

    add

    <?php get_sidebar(); ?>'
    so it looks like this
    </div>

    <?php get_sidebar(); ?>

    <?php get_footer(); ?>`
