Ok, I will contact the gateway provider about it.
However it is also (not) happening with the manual payment option, is it supposed to be so?
wp-e-commerce is *designed* to only send the admin sales notification email when the sale is complete – i.e. payment has been received.
The manual gateway does not set the sale to payment received, because it has not been.
Ergo, no notification email.
As it happens I have just written a manual gateway plugin that addresses this issue by sending an additional “order received” email to the site admin (or an alternative address if you prefer).
