I'm pretty new to Bluehost as well as WordPress and I'm having an issue.
I have one site up, http://thepaulmeyer.com, and I'm able to access the /feed/ for RSS on there. However, I just made another site, http://thegregtaylorblog.com, and whenever I try to go to /feed/ or anything related to RSS, I get a 404 error. I don't recall doing anything in Bluehost to activate the RSS or anything for the first site
Could anyone lend me a hand, or at least let me know if this is something on Bluehost's end or not?
Thanks!
The difference is that you don't have pretty permalinks activated on the second site, so your feed is not at http://thegregtaylorblog.com/feed. The default location of the feed when you don't have pretty permalinks activated is ?feed=rss so your feed is currently here:
http://www.thegregtaylorblog.com/?feed=rss
More info about feed URLs: http://codex.wordpress.org/WordPress_Feeds
If you want the /feed URL to work you'll need to activate pretty permalinks. Instructions for that are here: http://codex.wordpress.org/Using_Permalinks#mod_rewrite:_.22Pretty_Permalinks.22
Good luck!
