    Hello

I upgraded from WordPress 1.5 to Worpress 2.0 strictly following instructions from here (http://codex.wordpress.org/Upgrading_WordPress) and something went wrong at Step 10.

When I go to my blog and click on "Connection" to access the admin page, I enter my correct login and password. However,I get the returning message (translated from French since I'm using a a language file):

"You don't have enough rights to access this page"
(and I do not have any .htaccess files inside these folders)
    Screencaps:

After this, if I go to the root of the wordpress/wp-admin/ folder I have access to what seems to be a minimized Administration Panel. Screencaps:
    http://www.maj.com/gallery/chrisdigo/misc/wp201.jpg

From here, if I click on write a post, I get the same message "You don't have enough rights to access this page"
    Screencaps:
    http://www.maj.com/gallery/chrisdigo/misc/wp202.jpg

Here is a partial screencap of the content of my wp-admin folder with FTP:
    http://www.maj.com/gallery/chrisdigo/misc/ftp_wpadmin.jpg

    To resume:

    1. I seem to have a minimzed Administration Panel
    2. I don't have http access to any files inside the /wordpress/wp-admin/ folder

Also I want to emphasize I do not have any .htaccess files inside these folders.

Can anybody try to help me ?
    Thanks

    Chris

filosofo -> Thanks for the link !! Before posting, I did a search but didn't found anything. Sorry about that. :o/

Anyway, I quickly read the thread with many solutions. I first did the simpliest one (empty the content of the wp-admin/cache/ folder) and it worked for me !

Again, thanks filosofo for you quick and kind response. :o)

WordPress 2.0 seems to rock !
