No Posts showing up on HOME page OR in ADMIN edit posts

    we have over 9000! (yeah yeah) posts and all of a sudden none of the published ones will NOT show up on either the HOME page (Not Found – Sorry, but you are looking for something that isn’t here.) or in the wp-admin edit posts list – published posts show us a blank list (the drafts, pending and trash all show in the list)

    We’ve checked the database and the posts are there.. and seem intact, its not a plugin as the site was working one min, and broken the next.. no changes or updates were made recently..

    archives pages / posts also don’t show up when accessed.

    troubleshooting done so far:
    disabled plugins
    cleared caches
    tried 2011 theme (same issue)
    checked for hacked or exploited files (none found)
    tried a test post (it vanishes)

    I’m 100% stumped on this and could use some immediate assistance on figuring out a) what happened, and more importantly, b) how to fix it.

    UPDATE:

    Apparently there was a missed database issue.. I reran the repair/optimize on the db again via phpMySQL and it fond an issue with one of the post cells and repaired it.

    We can now see posts on both the home page and in the admin.

    Just a thought.. if this happens to you, run your db check, repair, and optimize at least 2 times to catch something that may get missed.
