• I uploaded the podpress plug in and then the next gen plug in and activated them. Now I can’t access the plug in page and I have the following on the Dashboard page: Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 58368 bytes) in /var/www/blog/wp-includes/class-snoopy.php on line 247

and on the plug in page….
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 190 bytes) in /var/www/blog/wp-admin/admin-functions.php on line 1734

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 16 bytes) in /var/www/blog/wp-includes/plugin.php on line 139

We are running it on the local server. Please help.. 🙂

  • So, when you searched here for “Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted ” what did you find?

(hint: your php needs to be configured to have more memory)

Hi, thanks for that.. I searched the error…
I am just wondering how i can increase the php memory… it is based on a server and well we don’t know where or configure the php settings. I know that this isn’t a word press problem but if you have any clues… that would be helpful.
Otherwise if I just delete the plug-in from the file end (cause we can’t access the plug-in page)??

    Thanks

The memory configuration you’re after is in the php.ini

And yes, your other option is to just delete the plugin from the wp-content/plugins folder.
