Ok, this is driving me crazy. I am not getting ANY photos/artwork that comes with the themes. I have downloaded several, hoping that maybe there was an error with one but they are all the same.

    What I have done is:
    went to themes.wordpress.net

Downloaded flowery 2.0 by Lisa Sabin Wilson
    mistylook 1.0.3
    sunset 1.01
    Into the light

I also downloaded Jakarta-previously and that works fine BUT it is for the old version of WP and it doesn't allow for photos as easy so I wanted a newer one.

    Anything??

Almost sounds like you have hotlink protection on for your overall domain. Do you?

If you log into your WordPress and go to Options -> General, what are the two URI values there?

When you unzip the themes, are you preserving their directory structure?

For instance, your current theme expects images in .../myblog/wp-content/themes/mistylook/img/

Is there an img directory there?

But the images are not there - at least not where the stylesheet is looking for them:

Well that solved it! I opened the 'images' folder and put them in separate and didn't just ftp up the whole folder.

Thanks SO much guys... you are wonderful!

Hey, do something about those pictures in your posts!
It's a crime against any visitor to have a 3,000 KB picture there! Even 300 is way too much!
A web image shouldn't be bigger than 25-30KB.
