    Hi everyone,

I've just installed WP2.1 and I'm having issues viewing my archive pages. You can see the error message here:

    http://www.rashundatramble.com/archives

    Theme used: Simplr

    What I've done so far:

    1. Put archives/(without backticks) in the beginning of my permalink designation according to the following post:

    I wasn't successful.

    2. I set my .htaccess file to 666, hit the "update permalinks" button, then set the .htaccess to 660. Still no luck.

    3. I checked the permissions on my archives.php file and the directory it's in and everything seems fine.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Best regards,
    Rashunda

    Hi everyone,

I searched the forum and came upon this post:

    http://wordpress.org/support/topic/86946?replies=4

The person seemed to be having the same problem I am (see post above). When I changed the permalinks back to default, my archives came back. I checked with my webhost and mod_archives and AllowOverride are on.

Would anyone have any suggestions on where to go from here? Any help would be appreciated.

    Best regards,
    Rashunda

    Hi everyone,

I think the best bet will probably be for me to install a previous version. I can't figure out anything else to do.

    Best regards,
    Rashunda
