no page appears after upgrade

I’m not sure if it’s related, but shortly after my own upgrade going to my index page only resulted in a totally blank page. Nothing to see in the “view source” either. Totally blank. I manually typed in the path to the login page and managed to log in. I then re-selected my theme and bang, my site was there again. I believe I was using the slashdot theme at the time.
