No option to select slideshow in add gallery

okay, I have read the forums on how to create a slideshow. I have followed all instructions however when I am finished choosing my images creating my gallery and going to the page that is allows me to choose random order, link to, and reverse order option, there is no option to make my gallery a slideshow. I am currently using zooeffect and I cant get the images to register with Google like I would if I was using WordPress to show my images. Do I need to install a plugin to have this option to be able to choose? How can I get the gallery to be displayed as a slideshow. I have also tried using the short code given and all I get is the thumbnail images and it is frustrating. Please Help.

I have version 3.7.1 so being the newest version I would figure the slideshow option would be available. Is there an alternative to zoo effect where I am able to use my media pictures straight from wordpress in a slideshow to better my SEO and Google picking up my images?
