   After upgrading to WP 2.7.1, the page template option when you are adding or editing a page has disappeared.

   Try this--change your theme to the WordPress Default Theme, then change back to your theme.

   Let us know if that works.

   Hey Guys,

   I just installed wordpress 2.7.1 and this doesn't seem to be working.

   Do you have any other things to try to see if I can get the page templates to work? Also I am new to wordpress. Do they need to be turned on in the settings or somewhere, or should they just appear when you create a new page?

   Petewake might review Why is there no Page Template option when writing or editing a Page?
