No Manual Payment Gateway (5 posts)

    WP e-Commerce version: 3.8.12.1
    Gold Cart version: NA
    Theme: Smashing WP

    I did this: Installed plugin

    I expected WP e-Commerce to do this: Have manual payment option

    Instead it did this: Did not have a manual payment option

    Despite the description clearly stating that there is a manual payment option, none exists. Even the file for the offline gateway is missing.

    Fixed rate shipping? I'm not sure what you mean. This is about having a manual or offline payment option which the plugin claims to include, but it does not. I am not sure what your reply is supposed to mean.

    The plugin does include one - it's called Test Gateway under Settings > Store > Payments.

    Hello Lee and thank you for your reply. I too am British :)

    Sorry to disagree, but it doesnt. It is simply not present. I had to create one to do this.
    If you have an older install, then upgrade, the offline payment option would be present as the file would still be there from the old install. If you make a new install, the file is not present in the plugin and as such it would not be present in the website. I assume this is the issue as I know the file is available in older versions, but not in the current version.
    If you check the latest version, you will see that the offline gateway is missing. If you make a clean install with the latest version, you will see that it doesnt show under payments as an available gateway.

    I now have a secondary issue with receipts not being sent to user or admin. This issue seems to have been ongoing since early 2012 with no official replies from the devs that I can see.
