No longer works with WordPress 3.9.1

    Can you try switching to a different theme temporarily? Any errors in the console?

    I can confirm that it works with WP 3.9.1 and bbPress 2.5.3 – which means there is likely another plugin conflicting or it is the theme itself.

    Sorry for my late reply. For some reason it works now. I guess there was a conflict with another plugin. I wish WordPress had a feature that allows us to troubleshoot plugin conflicts.
