A few days ago I suddenly stopped receiving emails notifying me of new comments on my blog.
I had not done any adjustments or anything.
In fact, since it started, I upgraded to the WP to the latest version. I was using the previous version. But it is still the same.
I've been looking to see if there is a function where I can turn on and off this feature in case it accidentally turned off but I can't find anything.

It's set via Admin/Settings/Discussion. At least one of the "Email me" checkboxes needs to be ticked.
If they are ticked, then you could try using a different email address (ie one that uses a different domain). It's a long shot but you may be the victim of spam filtering or a blacklist.

As abrupt as they stopped coming, they suddenly started coming again a few hours ago.
I didn't do anything different so I don't know what the deal was but it's back to normal again.
