Using 2.8.6, hybrid framework, yahoo hosting. Instead of a login page, I have a page from wordpress announcing the famous 5 minute install and asking me for name of blog and e-mail address. Can not get into blog now. I've already upgraded. Why is wordpress not letting me into my blog? When I type in hypyklrz.net into browser, I get 'page not found and -->Additionally, a 410 Gone error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. Any help would greatly be appreciated!

    your options table is crashed.

its not a simple fix on yahoo hosting UNLESS you have already installed phpmyadmin

Using phpmyadmin to fix your problem:

check to see if your options table needs to be repaired.

    use phpmyadmin,

    Check:

    1. Login to phpMyAdmin.
    2. Select the database and click on 'Structure' tab.
    3. Right under the list of table there is a "Check All" link. Click on it to select all tables.
    4. From a "With selected:" drop-down menu right next to it, choose "Check table".

    Repair:

    1. Login to phpMyAdmin
    2. Choose the affected database. If you only have one database, it should choose it by default so you don't need to do anything.
    3. In the main panel, you should see a list of your database tables. Check the boxes by the tables that need repair.
    4. At the bottom of the window just below the list of tables, there is a drop down menu. Choose "Repair Table"

Many thanks whooami, for your quick reply. Fortunately, my database (I've had nothing but problems with yahoo) has a 'repair' tab on the main page. Running that utility fixed the problem, though my widgets went 'to sleep'. I really appreciate your time in helping me and listing out the procedure in detail above. Now I know. Many thanks! - d.o.Foreman
