   Help,
   I have been on my wordpress earlier, changing the header and adding some widgets. Went off line and came back later but there is now no 'log in' on my home page.
   Went to wordpress main site and tried to login there but got message saying it did not recognise my username and did I want to claim this name, so I did this.
   Now when I log in it shows the header I recently added but nothing else, it sems to think I only joined 10 minutes ago.
   Help please

   I think you want the WordPress.com forum. Or did you install self-hosted WordPress which is what is covered on the WordPress.org forum. What is the URL of your blog?

   @IronmongeryShop - your name maps to a WordPress.COM blog - http://ironmongeryshop.wordpress.com/ - is that where you really want to be? Your Meta section seems to have a log-in.
