WP Ultimate CSV Importer Plugin
[resolved] No import into CF fields (11 posts)

When I upload my CSV the data is imported into the post_content and post_name fields.

However, when I direct other content to the three custom fields of the custom post, they don't show up. It looks like everything is spotted correctly upon mapping but after upload nothing is there.

    Any ideas?

Yeah post won't work for me. It is a custom "listing" post in these theme. If I choose post I only get standard post fields.

Is this wp default custom field? Some advanced custom fields are handled differently by the plugin itself. This may not supported by ultimate csv importer plugin.

is that theme based custom fields? Do you get these custom fields listed in mapping drop down?

smackcoders, yes it is theme based custom fields. Everything checks out right in the mapping. Double checked in the page source as well and the plug-in picked them all right up, it just won't put the info there!

    That's just what I don't understand.

So the way custom fields stored by your theme is completely different. They are not like wordpress default custom fields. You may need to customize the plugin to make it work for your theme. Better you find other way to import data.
