   I have no images after the installation, all my photos dissapear, moreover I don't even have the wordpress logo and other icons. no images, only the written part. What is going on? I installed it yesterday is the page running in "maintenance mode". I am freaked out. HELP HELP HELP

   Is this fresh install or did you upgrade.

   Try deactivating plugins may be one conflicting.

   Switch to twenty ten theme see if still have same problem.

   thank you govpatel, answering your question: it is an upgrade. I uninstalled several plugins but I still don't have images. should I disconect all pluggins? any other suggestion? I would prefer not to switch themes.

   Switch theme for few minutes to just see if it is theme that is causing the problem.

   is there any way you paste the url so we can see

   hi govpatel, thank you so much for all your help. I switch to 20 10 as you suggested, but I still don't have images, not even the wordpress logo, My broken link checker says that all my links to photos are broken.    Have you tried:

   - deactivating all plugins to see if this resolves the problem. If this works, re-activate the plugins one by one until you find the problematic plugin(s).

   - resetting the plugins folder by FTP or PhpMyAdmin. Sometimes, an apparently inactive plugin can still cause problems.

   - resetting your custom permalinks back to the default setting. If this works, then review Using_Permalinks before setting a custom permalink structure back up again.
