No featured Images after latest update. | WordPress.org

There is no longer a place to set anything as a featured image. It is not where you add the image and the box at the bottom right is also gone. I tired checking the screen options but there is no box for featured image.

It’s still there. Try switching to the Twenty Twelve theme.

That does not work for me. I need to keep the current theme.

The change is only temporary and is needed as part of the troubleshooting process.

Then the issue is in your theme. It is not adding support for post thumbnails correctly. See Post_Thumbnails.
