Waaaah! @#$%&ˆ!!!! After days of puzzling why I can only configure allowing reactions for the whole site, I found out that some possibilities might be missing. When I create a new page there is no extra fields or comments box, nor the author dropdown in the dashboard.
Does anyone know if this is normal, if not what to do about it and if so what to when I want to configure this for each page or even post differently?

log in to dashboard
top right of page, click on "Screen Options"
enable what you like -

Thaks for your quick reaction, but...I had already enabled these options. Saved them again, but nothing happenzz! What is happening?

Aaah, wait. I figured out that this functionality depends on the level you're working on. So now I really learned something.
