Hi all, i've a blog here http://www.piercarlomauri.it but i've some problem with email notification sent for comments. First of all, my gmail is working well, and i also tried another mail to be sure, but i had the same result. The strange thing is that some days ago everything worked perfect, but in the last days i had that problem...of course i checked the option to send email when someone inserts a comment, and i have wp 2.6, since the first day i installed my self hosted wordpress blog. However in these days i tried some plugins (like xml google sitemap, all in one seo pack, and other things) could the problem be one of that plugins? I also tried some plugin that sends email through a smtp server but the result is the same...
Can anyone help me?
Thanks
Bye

Shouldn't be because, I had those with 2.5 and the email worked well but when I installed 2.6 a couple days ago they stopped working as well.
I don't know though pretty much everything stopped working with the 2.6 install.

You ever figure this out? Do you still have the problem in 2.7?

In WordPress 2.7 check your email given for admin notifications from
Settings>General rather than your profile page. I hadn't realised it used this email address rather than the profile one. I also found I wouldn't receive email notifications for comments if I gave my aol email address but did if I used gmail or a couple of other email addresses I have.

Tried that, with multiple email addresses even. Didn't help.

Well, it's working for me now. In the Settings>General page I tried an alternate email address, one that doesn't have the same URL as the website (I used Gmail), and that is now working. It's a workaround, but at least it's working.
