    Hey Jonathan,

It looks like the issue is that your Instagram user is private and so your photos aren’t publicly available via the Instagram API. Photos from a private user can’t be shown outside of Instagram due to their privacy restrictions. If you change your privacy settings then the plugin will be able to display your photos, otherwise I’m afraid it won’t be able to.

Flag this. The problem was because my posts were private.

Made them public on Instagram and at worked.

Awesome, glad to hear it’s all working now. I’ll make this post sticky as it may be a pretty common issue that people run into.

If you have any other issues then just let me know,

    John

    Hi!

I have the same problem but my instagram user isn’t private.
    What may be the issue?

    Hey Thobias,

Could you send me the Access Token and User ID that you’re using so that I can test them? For your privacy, feel free to use the contact form on our website rather than posting them here.

    Thanks!

    John

    Hey,

    Same problem here.
    I get a strange error:
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (NOT FOUND) https://api.instagram.com/v1/users/NaN/media/recent?access_token=XXXX&count=10&callback=instafeedCache10b5cd37077f4957.parse

(XXXX is the token which I send through your form).

    when user is not private.

    Thanks 🙂

    Hey Arnaud,

Are you using your username in the plugin or your User ID? Your User ID is 14884945. Could you try using that? I was able to display your photos using the Access Token you sent and your User ID.

Hope you’re having a good weekend,

    John

Like a charm! Many thanks 🙂

Awesome, glad to hear that! 🙂 No obligation at all, but if you like the plugin and feel like leaving a super-quick review then it would be hugely appreciated!

Hope you had a great weekend,

    John

Having the same issue as thobiasofqvist – looks exactly the same. Feed is accessible but not showing images. wp_header() and wp_footer() are present in my theme so that’s not it. I sent you my token and ID through the form, I don’t have the Pro version so no license key, didn’t use the form it said to use, just the regular one.

    Hey dragnsteph,

Could you go to the plugin’s Settings page, click on the Support tab and send me your ‘System Info’ via our support form? Could you also send me a link to the page where you’re displaying the feed so that I can take a look? When you send the request could you also please include a link to this thread so that I know what it’s in reference to?

    Many thanks,

    John

    John,

We’ve been talking via email, so you’re already helping me, very much appreciated.

I think we’ve determined it must be a security issue at this location – I can view everything fine from home and from my cell phone. I’m not sure why, since I can view Instagram just fine, but that’s the only thing that makes sense.

Hey Stephanie, thanks for letting me know. It sounds like you’ve been corresponding with my colleague David and he’s been helping you to troubleshoot the issue.

Hope you have a good weekend!

    John
