No Comments on PAGES

    Hello,

    I have looked through a lot of posts here and I still cannot figure out what everyone is saying. I have PAGES that have a box at the bottom to leave a reply. I have disabled the “allow comments…” on the discussion settings. Not sure why the comments are still allowed. I understand for posts, but this is a page. I am using a buddy press theme, custom community. Thanks for your help

    open up the page.php in your theme & get rid of the comments template line

    Hi,

    Thanks for the quick reply. I did that and it got rid of the reply on the home page but not the rest of the site….any idea how to do that?

    not sure, that worked for me. try going through your template php files & remove any comment tag?
