no commenting ability for AOL users (4 posts)

I upgraded to 1.22 when it came out, and installed Spam Karma a couple of days ago.

Just now, a user on AOL who's been vacationing for a week tried to leave a comment, and couldn't, and mentioned it was her AOL browser preventing her suddenly (she's commented lots previously). I loosened up Spam Karma a bit, to "lenient," and am having her give it another shot.

She wasn't more specific as to error messages or anything... Any ideas what might have caused this? Or how to fix?

No. At least, not without a little more information , such as the actual error(s).

Otherwise it's like shooting at ducks. In the dark. When you're not even sure they're are any ducks. And you don't have a gun.

No idea, but what could be better than not allowing AOL users to comment on your site?! I wish I had that functionality!! ;)
