• Resolved ConquestArmy

    (@conquestarmy)

First off, this plugin does exactly what I’m looking to accomplish on my blog and I’m looking forward to using it….BUT, when I attempt to add an image file to a new ad, nothing happens. I get no code or anything.

I’ve tried deactivating the only cache plugin I have installed and clearing my cache history but it still doesn’t work.

    Any ideas?

Don’t forget to click the insert into post button.

In the ‘Insert Media’ popup? I did that, still nothing.

Are you able to add images to posts or pages?

Yes, both posts and pages accept my images just fine.

    I’m at a loss for a solution.

Same Issue… I am current on my WP Modules…. I one other plug-in installed and I took it out to see if there was a conflict… NOPE…. I went to my Regular Post Section.. Click ‘add a new post’ and then did the same as I would in DrAd…. Clicked ‘ADD MEDIA’ and selected the Banner Ad I made (150×150) and gave it a custom URL… and clicked ‘insert to post’ and wholla it was there…. I saved the post for habit…

then I went into your app… I have my settings set.. My one group made… then I selected to add a new ad…. Named it (just following the steps in your video – which made me select this Plug In…. then followed the same steps… EXCEPT… no html code appeared… Thinking it was my browser.. I went and used it on my MAC instead of my PC… and same results…… NADA….

Please advise.. I troubleshooted as far as I could… and If I can get this thing to work… I will be more than happy to help donate to progress your cause… LOOKS GREAT… But I may have to go and buy one if I cannot get this resolved quickly….. Let me know……

Glad to see I’m not the only one with this issue.

I have worked in wordpress extensively… and this Plug-in is the BOMB.. if it could work… I just tested this in a PLAIN JANE WP Theme (The Core… and it still isnt working… so I know it is not the custom theme or the elements I built….. for my client……..

I just dont want to have to pay $55 and Up to do the same thing this does.. and if the author here can get this resolved.. I will gladly fund him per site I use this on in the future… (I’ll make the client pay a donation fee)….

So I am in the same boat…. and I troubleshooted possibilities…. Might need version 1.0.1 to be made for WP 3.5

What version of WP are EPSTWEB and ConquestArmy running? I’ve only written for and tested on 3.5.1 (despite the requirements stating 3.5).

    I’m running 3.5.1

@conquestarmy – does it work if you use the TwentyTwelve theme?

    Thread Starter ConquestArmy

    (@conquestarmy)

Why yes it does. I’d prefer to continue using my current ‘Headlines’ theme if possible though.

I don’t want to have to change my entire theme just to be able to use one plugin so hopefully you can find a fix for this so I can utilize your awesome plugin!

But this appears to be a problem with the Headlines theme, not the plugin. I also don’t have the headlines theme therefore I can’t test the plugin against it.

I wonder which theme EPSTWEB is using…..if your plugin can only be used with WordPress’ default themes, that really limits your client base.

Guess I’ll just have to find a different plugin to use which is unfortunate cus I was really looking forward to utilizing yours.

Thanks for your help and I’ll continue to monitor this thread in hopes of a fix. *fingers*crossed*

I’m having the same issue, if I click the Add Media button I get no code in the body of the form.

If I go back and look at All Ads I see the thumbnail but no main image.

The only way I can get this to work is to manually create the code for each ad, which is far from ideal.

I’m using the Magnovus theme http://themes.purethemes.net/?theme=magnovus again a premium theme.

Any suggestions as to way forward? The plugin is ideal for what I need but I can’t keep copying & editing code for each ad.

Unfortunately I can’t test the issue with a premium theme…
